10-Minute Sloppy Joes

Rework your leftover chicken into an easy, weeknight family favorite. Our 10-minute Sloppy Joes are smoky and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup chili sauce
  • 1 3.5 oz can Chipotle chilies in sauce
  • 1 tbl brown sugar
  • 1 tbl yellow mustard
  • 1 lb cooked shredded chicken
  • Jalapeño peppers (optional)
  • Bubbies Bread and Butter Chips

For the spread:

  • ⅓ cup Bubbies Sauerkraut
  • ⅓ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • Once cooled, add ingredients (besides chicken) in food processor and process until combined.
  • Toss chicken into your sauce, fold to coat.
  • Build your sandwich and top with pickles and red onion.

Directions

  1. Combine water, chili sauce, chipotle chilies, brown sugar, yellow mustard and bring to a simmer.
  2. Toss in diced jalapeño, all to thicken.
  3. As it heats through, break up the chipotle chilies with your spoon/spatula.
  4. Remove from stove and allow to cool.
