Turkey in Blankets

These easy-to-make Turkey Pigs in Blankets with Bubbies Sauerkraut and Bubbies Dill Relish are the perfect after-school snack.

Ingredients

  • 18-ounce tube crescent roll dough
  • ½ cup Swiss cheese (shredded)
  • 24 turkey cocktail sausages
  • 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
  • Your favorite sauce for dipping (as desired)
  • ¼ cup of Bubbies Kosher Dill Relish
  • ½ cup of Bubbies Sauerkraut

Directions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 °F.
  2. Cover a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  3. Mix Bubbies sauerkraut and Bubbies Dill Relish in a small bowl.
  4. Spread the crescent dough and press the seams together with your fingers.
  5. Half the crescent dough lengthwise, then cut each half horizontally into 12 even strips.
  6. Place a teaspoon of the Bubbies Sauerkraut/Relish mixture on each strip and top with some cheese.
  7. Place one turkey cocktail sausage on top of the relish and cheese per strip of dough.
  8. Roll up the dough around the sausage and press the edge of the dough to close the roll.
  9. Place each roll on the baking sheet with the closed end facing down.
  10. Place the baking sheet inside the oven and bake for about 15 minutes.
  11. Once golden brown, take the rolls and place them on a tray.
  12. Bubbies Thousand Island dressing or ranch makes a great dipping sauce.
