In Yiddish, a "nosh" is a light meal, often served on a bagel. Substitute a tortilla for the bagel and you have a southwestern-style nosh. When I was a girl, newly arrived on America's shores, I'd never heard of tacos. Likewise, buffalo chicken wings. As I grew older, I loved combining our family's traditional recipes with new flavors I encountered. So when I put tacos and chicken wings together - with slices of my kosher dill pickles - I discovered that I had the perfect nosh for a brunch or a party. One that made me kvell with pride and my guests shout Olé!
